What does Personal Property Managers do if my alarm or security monitoring system goes off and I am out of town?

We respond to any of our clients emergency situations within hours. We work with your alarm company to respond a mitigate home and property damages. We personally meet with all of our clients and gather up a full array of client data, from contact information to  insurance coverage to emergency shut off locations. We will  be dispatched to your home, assess the situation, try and reach our clients and communicate what we have seen and coordinate whatever emergency services are needed from board up services to water clean up to power restoration. We also coordinate any reconstruction work. We provide you with total peace of mind. What do the police do when my alarm or security monitor goes off?

Generally, your local police or law enforcement personnel will be dispatched when your forced entry alarm goes off.  In many cases you will be charged a fee for the police to respond. They will drive out to your property and give a quick inspection. If they see nothing they will leave. If they see a door or window broken or open they will look inside. If there is no one in the house, they will fill  out a report and leave.  The police will not clean up any damage. That’s’ not their job. Who’s job is it? It’s your job to  mitigate any damages or losses. What happens if you are out of town and have no one to help you? The losses mount up and your face a huge headache when you return. If I have water damage do you handle that and do you fix up any damage as a result of the damage?

Yes, we can handle it all for you. We’ll remove the water, dry out the rugs and address any mold issues. We’ll remove damaged dry wall and basically put your home back in the condition it was prior to the damage. What if I am out of town and my hot water heater breaks?

We’ll take care of removing the water, address carpet issues and dry wall issues and remove the old hot water heater and replace it with a new one and coordinate with your insurance company.
